Lighthouse Litigation PLLC’s Joshua S. Goodrich Named to State Bar of Michigan’s 2023 “A Lawyer Helps” Pro Bono Honor Roll

Lighthouse Litigation PLLC is proud to share that Joshua S. Goodrich, J.D., LL.M. was nominated for inclusion on the State Bar of Michigan’s 2023 A Lawyer Helps Pro Bono Honor Roll, which recognizes Michigan attorneys, law firms, and corporations that expand access to justice through meaningful pro bono service.

The 2023 Honor Roll reflects qualifying pro bono hours performed in 2022. Firms and corporations were recognized for per-attorney averages of 30, 50, or 100+ hours, as well as for providing at least 100 cumulative hours. Individual attorneys were recognized for contributing 30, 50, or 100+ hours of qualifying pro bono service.

Statewide, attorneys reported more than 40,000 pro bono hours from 1,000+ Michigan-licensed lawyers for the 2022 service year—an inspiring snapshot of our profession’s ongoing commitment to closing the justice gap. While many eligible attorneys chose public recognition, others submitted hours for reporting purposes only.

“Pro bono is part of who we are,” said Goodrich. “Even as a small firm, we make room for the cases that keep families housed, protect consumers, and vindicate civil rights. It’s work that matters.”
